Description

Protein Plus is a feed-grade gelatin binder manufactured from bovine gelatin obtained from demineralized bone pieces. The bone material is processed in accordance with the applicable acid and alkaline treatment requirements and the relevant animal-health and BSE-control conditions stated in the attached annex.

It is designed to help improve pellet cohesion, reduce fines and dust, and support pellet stability during handling, transportation, and feeding. The product is suitable for feed manufacturers looking for a natural animal-origin protein binder that can be incorporated into pellet formulations according to their production process and required pellet performance.

Protein Plus is supplied in powder form and can be used either by direct mixing with feed ingredients or by dissolving in warm water before application, depending on the customer’s production system. 

Product Form

Powder Form: Protein Plus is supplied as a powder suitable for feed production systems. It can be mixed directly with dry feed ingredients or prepared as a solution before application.

Usage Note

Protein Plus can be added directly into the feed mix or dissolved in warm water and applied during mixing or conditioning.

The suitable dosage depends on several factors, including:

Trials are recommended to determine the most suitable inclusion rate for each feed formulation.
